The maintenance of the web site is split into two areas:
The first area is the updating and modifying of the content of the web site and this function will be the responsibility of the Site Administrator.
Requirements: Each administrator user needs the following to connect / modify / upload / download from the site:
1.Intel based PC with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
2.A connection to the Internet – minimum 128kbps ISDN recommended, 512kbps or faster ASDL is ideal. (Modem connections can also be used, but a faster connection is recommended for the administrator because of the amount of time spent on the site to create and modify content.)
The second area is the maintenance of the web server, connectivity and project management of each web site, as well as periodic upgrades to the Portal Engine and custom developed modules. This is carried out by GESS employees as part of the hosting service.
