Google Earth DEM Extractions

GESS can assist, train, support and consult clients with the extraction of DEMs from Google Earth for planning and assesments of site, road, rail and infrstructure layouts. GESS cam assist with skills transfer in Civil Engineering Design (platform, roads, rail, built infrastructure), Survey projections, Software design applications for clients

Using Bentley technology that integrates with Google Earth Gess can build DTM's (digital terrain models) and Land xml files which can be utilised in design applications.

Google Earth Integration

GESS can assist clients with integrating their design into Google Earth for viewing. This will allow MicroStation or AutoCAD layout which are geo coordinated (we will help you with projections) to be written out to kml or kmz files with their current layer and level structures including any aerial images that are present.

Contact GESS for the South African Positive Quadrant projection for Wgs84 Hartebeeshoek94 and Cape Co-ordinate systems for MicroStation.
