The Digital Airport is a repository of critical facility information accessible to all business stakeholders to support the design, construction, operations of the airport. It is focused on 3 primary areas

Land management including geospatial management, roads and bridges and utility infrastructure.

Building management including building information modeling, facility spaces and assets and construction delivery.

And finally interoperability connecting the critical facility information to other business solutions including lease management, maintenance and operations and security.

When combining the many participants of the airport business with the engineering content this presents a special complex problem of information management. This includes the ability for people to get information when they need it in the format that they require, that is most useful to them in making business decisions.
